The coastline offers 300 km, which you can discover literally all year long and in no time you can be in Asturias or the Basque Country. We would be happy to help you out with deciding what to do with such a huge diversity.

A long the coast of northern Spain you can find hidden bays and mile long beaches. Near the town of Liencres the beach of Valdearenas is more attractive for advanced surfers due to it picking up more swell, but thanks to the long sand beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera and Somo, beginners as well will be able to enjoy their surf sessions. Our authentic Volkswagen T3 vans are proper old-timers and given their age, in very good condition. However, a 30-year-old car behaves a bit differently to a new car. Everyone should be aware of that and treat them with as much appreciation as we do.

Before you take over your van we have checked it closely with expertise. However, should a problem occur during your road trip, we'll be there for you 24 hours and do our best possible to eliminate every failure instantly.

Minimum rental in high season 5 nights and in low season 3 nights.
Additionally, we charge a one-time fee of 50€, covering the water, gas and final cleaning of the van. Of course, you also have a certain amount of kilometers for free. How many, you find out here.

On the day of your arrival we'll pick you up at the airport or bus terminal with your van. Together we'll drive to our location, where we will give you a detailed introduction to the camper van. We take our time to answer every question you have, including tips for your journey if desired.

Rent a Camper van with the team of Salty Campers

We are Team Lenny and two proper van girls. If we're not on the road with our vans to go surfing, we're in the garage working on them. The best alarm in the morning is the familiar knocking on the van door, followed by: Let's go surf? Yeah sure!
Before jumping into the sea, a quick coffee, enjoying the view of the sea and mountains, then slipping into our wetsuits and off we go.

It's exactly this feeling we want to share with you.

Spain became our new home and the passion for the vans and surfing unites us. For many years now, we don't only share this enthusiasm, but also our work.

When Linda isn't surfing, as a qualified motor mechanic and VW T3 specialist, she takes care of the fleet. Jenny, as a graduate of tourism, loves all board sports. In her free time, you either find her in the water or on the piste. As a communication wonder she handles all customer contact and all organizational matters.

That is why Salty Campers isn't just any business for us. We rent out vans because we want to share this way of living with you. The only thing that counts is you having an untroubled time and that you can enjoy your vacation to the full extent.
